Our Story

La Teresa  began in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, with a simple goal—to bring comfort through great food. While many businesses were slowing down, we started delivering meals across Iligan City, determined to serve our community one order at a time.
 

Our journey began with our signature shawarma wraps and handcrafted milk tea. As our customers continued to support us, we introduced our crispy chicken wings, which quickly became one of our best-selling favorites. Their perfectly crisp texture and classic flavors earned the love of many and helped establish the La Teresa name.
 

As our passion for food grew, so did our menu. We ventured into pizza-making, a journey that required countless hours of testing recipes, experimenting with different doughs, and carefully balancing flavors. It wasn't easy, but we refused to settle until every pizza met the quality we envisioned.
 

On March 18, 2022, we proudly opened our first small dine-in and take-out shop in the heart of Iligan City. This marked a new chapter for La Teresa. Alongside our pizzas, we expanded our menu with wraps, tacos, burritos, and other Mexican-inspired favorites that quickly became customer favorites. During this time, we continued refining our recipes, improving every detail from our pizza dough to our handcrafted sauces.
 

The following year, we opened a second branch in Palao. Although it operated for only three months due to unforeseen circumstances, the experience taught us valuable lessons about resilience, adaptability, and the importance of staying true to our vision.
 

In 2026, we made one of the biggest decisions in our journey. We left our beloved location in the city and transformed our family home into a garage-style café and pizzeria. What started as a humble idea became a cozy destination where guests could enjoy freshly prepared food in a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
 

Today, La Teresa continues to grow while staying true to the values that shaped us from the beginning. We constantly improve our service, refine our menu, and strive to give every customer an unforgettable dining experience. Our greatest pride is our pizza—crafted with fresh, locally made Italian-style dough, premium ingredients, and the same passion that has guided us since day one.
 

From delivering food during uncertain times to building a café that feels like home, our story has always been about perseverance, passion, and serving our community with food made from the heart.
